Workout for Maiden Dirt Face Off
[/blockquote][/blockquote]The dirt runners were ready to take their challenge. They were all maidens at this time. With Two fillies and one colt this time, all the horses were doing pretty well from their new season. First one running is the neglected three year old filly. She was putting into the big field as her performance is good during workout, and now she needed some experienced in the field. Another chestnut which was running was our yearling colt, he have come third in his three racing tracks, we have high hopes for him as his prospect season last year was excellent, Lucky loved his racing schedule. Lastly we have the three year grey filly which was bought from the economy sale, she needed some more experience on the track but we have high hopes for her.
Looking at the rest of the field it was a pretty big. Gate four, five and six were horses from Silver Stride Stables. Gate four held another chestnut colt named Instant Success, he was closer and could be a threat. Lucky would be would be watching him through the race since they were both the leg style type. Gate Five held another filly but this time bay in colour, her name is Paradise Island, she was another threat which we would be watching out for, hopefully her being a front runner she would get tired and fall back. They last entry was a grey filly named Candid Silver she wasn't much of threat since her record wasn't that good. So forcefully she isn't the horse to watch on the day. Gate six was another bay filly from Stride Perfection Stable but the filly wasn't that of threat as well, as her record wasn't that good for this season. Gate Seven was a black filly named Erin Shore from Close Racing Stables, she have had a few thirds and would be watched a little, but she didn't seemed much of a threat. Gate Eight and Nine were horses from Oak Hill Stables. Gate Seven held a black colt named My Shining Star, he have only raced once, and another horse which wasn't a threat or to worry about. Gate Nine was another bay filly named Shot Of Mocha she was another closer and another horse which Silver might like to challenge if needed be, she won a couple of seconds which wasn't bad.
Now we knew what the other races were, we can focus on our training schedule for our horses. The trio were all warming they muscles were ready for the big proper race now. The gates were ready for the horses to answer. All three horses entered the gates without any problems, when the gates sprung open Clara and Lucky both broke cleanly, but Ara banged her rump into the gate again, and cause her to lose her stride a little. It wasn't a great different and she quickly recovered. Clara was in a brilliant mood today and she was in the lead, keeping herself comfortable and softly.
The final turn was about to come and Ara wasn't in the mood to co-operated today and was pulled up from the workout as her fighting could cause herself a injury. Now Lucky and Clara were battling together and the colt was making his move along the outside and he spread his strides some more. Clara was keeping the lead strongly and both horses were side by side. The finishing line was coming into a view and Lucky took the lead just by his nose, which was really close in a proper race and he couldn't wait for the day to come.
